# Bridging PDT

PDT was originally launched on Ethereum Mainnet. We've since expanded it to Base to align with a governance vote ([PDIP 18.2](https://discuss.paragonsdao.com/t/pdip-18-2-repositioning-the-pdt-staking-contract-for-the-future/244)) in preparation for a new [staking](https://docs.paragonsdao.com/docs/staking) contract on Base. We eventually foresee most token activity to take place on Base.
